Parce que c'est plus drôle de rire de la Reine qui mérite toute ces blagues que de rire de Regina-moderne qui est supposée être meilleure que ça.Because it's funnier to laugh at the Queen who deserves all these gags than laugh at modern-Regina who should be better than that.

The queen was supposed to be foolish since her point was to cast a curse demanding her to kill someone she loves... I just want her present self to be smarter than that... in the meantime, I can still laugh at stupid queen.
