Honestly, my love for the musical isn't enough to convert me into a die-hard fan of the cartoon, but I just love the musical so much. I love musicals!
And I personally love the changes they made.
I'm literally so excited to see it live, because I'm sure it's loads better, I will definitely keep you updated if I do.

I agree. The characters are very one-dimensional and annoying in the cartoon (except for Squidward and Mr. Krabs), I'm glad they found the humanity in the characters and made them more complex and relateable.
Esp. SB, Patrick and Pearl, they underwent the most make-over, for the better.
I used to be in a ballet class and did a few plays in elementary school and high school but that's as far as my ''stage'' experience goes.
Mostly I just love watching musicals. They always make you feel good afterwards.

I get it and I believe I saw that before. Still, People are inspired by other peoples styles, artists have a tendency to ‘borrow’ from other artists all the time. Kinda how art works.
Even though the pose is the same, colours and composition are different, characters are different, so?
Not even that similar.
Plus I'm sure the artist didn't intend to steal they merely saw a pose they liked, mimicked it and din't know where the original came from.
But it;s fixed now.
