Another redesign finished! The color took me days, i swear. I'm still a little iffy on the pallet as a whole, but I'm just going to commit. Also, in this au, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy are dating. Yay gay rights!
A little bit about my AU: The mane 6 did not meet, and are not connected by the sonic rainboom. Twilight joins Nightmare Moon, and Equestria is changed entirely.
On a totally different note, Pegasi have markings going down their back legs to represent their magic. They show up with their cutie marks. Unicorns are born with markings over their hearts, a symbol of their magic as well. Pegasi also keep their hair short, for many reasons. Some believe in the superstition that hair carries memories, and cut their hair to signify their freedom from negative ones. Others like the style. The most common reason is that its just easier to fly when there's less hair getting in your face or getting tangled in clouds and trees.

Edit: While I'm working out all the kinks in my AU, I've decided to re-do the backstories for the mane 6! I also decided to give Fluttershy a more earth-toned color palette! I kept a little bit of pink in there, but I think I really like her better now!
