The clouds are settling on the city in back alleys, dead-lit. They recess to corners and pull blankets over their shifting bodies. Tin cans rattle with change, reverberate through urban nightmares. In seconds split before linear sleep, they stare up to their previous home. And for a moment, they let their guard down.
Somewhere a bearded man on 42nd and Main street makes it sonically aware that his 17 year tenure on the same wind-worn bench is coming to a close. Darkly parched, he parses this warning, a whisper:
"Don't choke when the rain comes."

Ha ha ha! That totally made me laugh. It strikes me funny with all of those chubby mouths screaming heaven high.
Wonderful concepts! And as the DD says... Shows so many diffrent emotion that no vewier feels the same about this peice. Wonderful job!

This is a great image, like we're all helpless infant birds waiting for _______ to bring us our patially digested worm. Yet occasionally we realize the pitiful state we're in and all we can do is scream. Fantastic!
