I feel we have similar styles, I like your take on sally. I haven't gotten to the point that I need to design her, in fact I still haven't done sonic cause I'm finishing other projects. How did you do the hair for sally? Tubes paint effects, hair, nurbs, polys, or are they cleverly textured?

The hair is a poly, and then textured first with opacity, then I used the opacity as a mask and then painted in the diffuse map. Its quite easy once you practice it. Also set your materials to 2-sided.
