I... think I'm happy with the shading? I like the shadows but I'm not sold on the highlights. Either way, after all this time, here's Infy! I did only one terrible, terrible WIP of him back in 2011, which is now in storage because it is butt-ugly.Close-up of Infy by himself

I still think Moon did an absolutely fabulous job designing the lines for Infy; but holy shit the palette itself is lovely. I always had a fondness for gray-scale Transformers; and it actually fits in beautifully with how he was created. Why would anyone spend the time designing a special coloration for a project?
Personally the shading in my opinion is outstanding. I love how you added in your highlights; they're faint but visible, and the cel shaded look works nicely here.
The paw pads are really interesting- a nice area to add a splash of color with the biolights.
Super adorable. I think the addition of his eyepiece is nice; also holy shit I don't know how you managed to contort a Decepticon insignia and stretch it to fit so nicely on the shoulder but it's killer.
This gorgeous bby can come home with me now, yes? I mean his character alone is precious what a friendly little babe he needs some loving yes.

I decided to make his paws have blue biolights because his primary weapons are electric pulse generators built into those pads. They look pretty and they do the ouchy zap zap
The trick with the 'Con sigil is Photoshop's "perspective" transform tool! It's super handy I love it
