Here is the art piece for my journal: [link]When I get frustrated with Naruto, especially when the story focuses on Sasuke FOREVER, I start thinking things like, "How would Naruto end?"
Well, wonder no more!
This is what happens when a crazy, chubby Sasuke wins in the end. It could happen.
Okay, I sense that I will probably get slammed by rabid Sasuke fans or those who think I should have been serious about the ending. PLEASE. If you know me at all, there's no way in hell I'd give Sasuke a good ending or waste valuable drawing time being serious when I can draw crack. So there.
And I don't haaate Sasuke. I just dislike his back-stabbing, arrogant, me-me-me, I'm-Uchiha-therefore-I-crap-gold attitude intensely. The one time I remember feeling any sympathy for him was when he cried after finding out the truth about Itachi. Could that be ... remorse?
Art notes: The battlefield took the longest to draw because it's really hard to draw piles of corpses! The second page was the most fun, especially when Sasuke was in World Eater mode. Had to include a little eye bleeding in there ...
Only refs I used were details on clothes and the moon. I still drew it my way, but I just needed to keep it consistent with Naruto world.Word count for narration: 100

I love how the narration (sans the last line) could be interpreted as something SRS, then you go on ahead and draw your lovely lovely crack.

Y'know, I've always wondered if when authors get fanmail (etc.), do they ever take their suggestions? And do they read their series fanfiction? I think Kishi would have a heart attack if he read Naruto fanfiction XD.

I totally agreed. Kishi needs to put more in the story, it's just too serious for a war (lol). There has to be comic relief somewhere.
The fillers (in the anime) are going to start at the end of June (roughly), so I'm anticipating what gonna go on...

Yes!!! If they had more stuff like that, then I think that Naruto would be a whole lot more interesting. Not that it's not now, but I'm finding it's a little dry with all the flashbacks, and Naruto-angst battles, etc. I would love to see the other people's fights, too! I was really hoping for the whole Neji/Hizashi father/son confront, but THEY DIDN'T EVEN MEET (unless I missed something...). I was devastated. Unless they put that in now... but still. I was hoping for some... "...father??? ...is that you??? OH MA GAWD!!! WHY WOULD YOU LEAVE ME???!!!" kinda thing.

LMAO I loved it when he was leaning on the world and just casually eating countries and when his eyes were beaming people up that was great! Haha.
I understand Sasuke's motives behind his actions but I don't like his actions. I don't see why he would treat his friends and comrades the way he does when they did nothing wrong against him and just want to help him but oh well.

Yeah, I understand them too, and you're right that he lumps everyone into the same category. I think he just can't come to grips with his own powerlessness or guilt over his past and with Itachi, so he projects all his own self-loathing on to other people.
Of course, maybe he's just a bastard.
