Here is the art piece for my journal: [link]When I get frustrated with Naruto, especially when the story focuses on Sasuke FOREVER, I start thinking things like, "How would Naruto end?"
Well, wonder no more!
This is what happens when a crazy, chubby Sasuke wins in the end. It could happen.
Okay, I sense that I will probably get slammed by rabid Sasuke fans or those who think I should have been serious about the ending. PLEASE. If you know me at all, there's no way in hell I'd give Sasuke a good ending or waste valuable drawing time being serious when I can draw crack. So there.
And I don't haaate Sasuke. I just dislike his back-stabbing, arrogant, me-me-me, I'm-Uchiha-therefore-I-crap-gold attitude intensely. The one time I remember feeling any sympathy for him was when he cried after finding out the truth about Itachi. Could that be ... remorse?
Art notes: The battlefield took the longest to draw because it's really hard to draw piles of corpses! The second page was the most fun, especially when Sasuke was in World Eater mode. Had to include a little eye bleeding in there ...
Only refs I used were details on clothes and the moon. I still drew it my way, but I just needed to keep it consistent with Naruto world.Word count for narration: 100

Guh, I know. I couldn't figure out what he would have planned once the war is finally over. I mean, the Five Great Shinobi Nations are allies, Naruto's already considered a hero and will likely achieve his dream of being Hokage, and everyone will be walking around singing "Kumbaya" and have rainbows coming out their butts because all conflicts in the world have been eliminated.
That would be a pretty dull ending. Except for the rainbows.

...You know, I'd forgive everything if Kishi drew the rainbows. XD Everything! Even this stupid way of keeping Naruto away for his training. (Sorry I keep complaining about that when there are other problems with the manga, too. ^^')...Well, everything except if Sasuke gets magically forgiven for everything he's done.
You need to draw the rainbow dance. Or I will, and it won't be pretty. XD

I know. I feel like it's a plot device he thought up because he was having problems dealing with a cast of hundreds in this war. I feel like I'll never actually get to see TenTen do some quality fighting or Lee go all taijutsu on some Zetsu ass before this war is up. We all know that once Naruto shows up, everything will be resolved in, like, six chapters.
I feel like drawing rainbows coming out of every possible orifice now.

Recently it just feels like he has run out of ideas on keeping Naruto away when the plot dictates so. =___= I mean, the fainting? And now this? Argh. XD And why couldn't he draw Lee and other people being badass at least in the background? >__<

Yeah, he seems like he doesn't have quite the energy he used to. Some of the new characters are interesting, but it's like he's just trying to keep it novel for himself. I miss seeing some of my favorite old characters having meaningful interactions ...
