my newest Bugsnax oc, Spoopy Woozyheart! I’ve had the idea for a paranormal investigator character for a while, but just got around to working out the concept into a character.

Spoopy came to Snaktooth because he heard no one comes back from the island and figured “hey there’s probably ghosts there if no one comes back,” plus all those abandoned locations? its a ghost goldmine, he figured. though as it turned out, he may be there for another reason-- he’s been called a failure and wants to prove himself and prove that his profession means something. he’s terrified he’ll never leave a mark on the world, that he’ll fade into obscurity forever.

he’s good friends with Snorpy and they bounce ideas back and forth a lot, which may not be such a good thing when they give each other bad ideas about paranormal events and conspiracies. on the flip side, he’s absolutely terrified of Beffica because she jokes with him a lot about ghosts and knows how to get into his head and freak him out. she doesn’t really mean anything by it, but he doesn’t know that.
