Besides, do we really have to remind you that this website is called deviantart? If you have a problem with seeing nudity on the DD page, either filter it off using the mature content (like you were already suggested), either move your business elsewhere. If anything, there's not enough deviant content on the DD page, like it used to be before everyone was allowed to become a member of the dA community.

I think it's safe to say that history showed us plenty of times how a single word can get you killed ("Witch!" -> bonfire ready). Thankfully, here at deviantart we lack that kind of passion. Having seen your signature, I 'm going to put this as "non-assy" as possible:
These pieces aren't chosen for the nudity, they're chosen because they are truly great pieces of art that someone chose to nominate so that they could be viewed and appreciated by others. The comment section on a piece is for comments and questions to the artist, not complaints on how the DD section is run. It had a filter on it, you didn't have to look. It was even more unnecessary for you to complain, not even about an aspect of the piece, but about something the artist doesn't control. That's a comment for your journal, not here.
Not trying to sound hostile or anything, I just think it's a bit unnecessary. As an artist who's not very well known, I love receiving comments and would be kind of bummed out if I saw I'd gotten a comment and it had just been something like this. Just saying.

And honestly, that's just what happens on the internet. You get good comments and bad ones, You get the happy people, and the butt-hurt people. It's a grand chaos.

one of my favorite things about DA is the supportive community. I'm not saying that someone can't dislike a piece and tell the artist why. Constructive criticism is always welcome. It's situations when the criticism is neither constructive to the artist nor even seemingly relevant to the piece when it bothers me. You said you knew already how people would feel about your comment, and knew that what you did wasn't the most appropriate, why would you do it anyways? You're like a kid knowingly breaking the rules just for the fun of it, even though it will get you into trouble. I don't see the point.
I know that comment wars are common on the internet, and that all sorts of people are exercising their freedom of speech. I understand and respect that. I'm just used to the DeviantArt community being a bit above that. Maybe it's my fault for holding all of us to a higher standard, but I'm used to people on this site being more mature than this: freaking out about a nude piece and then making sure everyone knows it. This is a place for the appreciation of art, of all kinds. If you haven't grasped that concept, it's usually better for you to just remain quiet until you have.

She "...posted one sentence. One..." And then followed it up with almost 30 replies to other people, sometimes on conversation threads that weren't directed at her at all.
When these little kiddies start their rants about how much they hate adult art here at DA in some artists gallery it makes me want to go slap their parents.
When you really seriously have a problem, you contact somebody in charge to try to get it rectified, when you just want to cry and whine, you go to somebody's art gallery and troll.

Nude pictures can be art, but this is more like a kink/fetish thing. Its fine in its own right but I don't think it belongs here.

It's not about "one sentence", if you honestly think it is you're extremely ignorant.
You are far from the first to post your unneccesary opinions on someones DailyDeviation, you do it all the time on artistic nudes in fact. It's rude, childish, and makes you out to be an asshole. It's not because of a sentence, it's the rudeness of people outcrying "This doesn't DESERVE a DD!" that gets people upset, the constant ignorance people have to artistic nudes and other art categories that gets people upset. The more they build, the more obnoxious they get and the less likely people who genuinely adore this stuff will be to be polite about it. Actually, in truth, not many people responding to you are being rude, they're simply being logical about the matter, applying the "don't like don't look" logic where it actually works.
It's not because people say negative things on nudes, because criticism has always been welcome. It's when people comment things that should not be in an artists comment section ("this is gross", "this doesn't deserve a DD", "Why is this a DD", "I like this art but it shouldn't be a DD" ect.), the lack of tolerance and ignorance people who love art and want to spread that love have to listen to every day that gets people upset enough to respond to you telling you to stop. And you should stop, because you have no reason to post these things here. Spreading negativity is never okay, you should spend your energy celebrating positivity on art getting a DD you actually approve of.
Sorry to say, but I do genuinely see you as childish. From the misuse of the comment section to the "Everyone's butthurt but me! Isn't that funny haha!" attitude you claim to have. It's just draining to listen to, honestly. I could go on about how I'm not really upset and your just a "troll" or something, but I am. I'm genuinely upset. Acting like a child to get a rise out of people is far more pathetic than nude art, that much I can assure you. Complain on artist work for something they are in no control over, that you do not have to look at, that has nothing to do with their art and is far from thoughtful is incredibly rude and unnecessary. There's really no good excuse for your behavior, you really should consider growing up to a more likable person rather than being an ass on nude artists comments section just for a laugh.
