Rick Tyler is the son of Rex "Tick-Tock Tyler the original Hourman. Rick was content in just being an artist living his life one day at a time, without a care in the world. But then came the crisis and Rick was not prepared with what would come next. His father like so many heroes perished while battling the forces of evil and it was then that Rick decided to take a stand for something.Using his vast intellect Rick designed a new Miraclo pill, one he would only have to take once. Now because of the new Miraclo he has a new superpower every hour. He has been seen using super strength to crush tanks, flying faster than a jet, melting cars with fire blasts or freezing criminals in their tracks with ice beams, or even peering into the future with his future sight. No matter what time it is, Rick is ready, as the new Hourman!

Yeah. The idea is his power randomly gives him the power he would need for that hour.

Nope. Sometimes the powers dont make sense to him and his teammates but it always ends up being exactly what they need.

Does he even know if he got them? That seems like a bit more of a liability, not knowing your powers.

He knows what powers he gets for the hour. Sometimes it might not be what he thinks he needs but it ends up working out everytime

So what, His superpower giving pill can predict which powers he needs? That feels kinda...

He doesnt take the pill anymore. In my version his powers are more of a result of his dad using the miraclo over the years and the android Hourman giving him a kind of upgrade to his power

It still feels like he'd be kind of undependable if his powers switched every hour. He'd either have to go out on his own and make up his crime-fighting plans as he goes along, or heavily coordinate with a team.

See and that is what I like about it the unpredictability of it. How it would effect the team or the mission

Well, unless he coordinates with them, it could end up being a serious liability. I mean I'd be happy to have someone with super strength up on the frontlines with me, but if he ends up with something like Grass control or something, I'd probably want him ready to get back.

The new power concept ("Any power in the world, but only for an hour at a time") is genius.

I love the idea of the armor this my bt my favorite reinvention of the character along with the kingdom come Hour-man with the red hour glass on one side now if only some one could cross rick's first costume with a digital clock that would look cool,
