Patrick Carlucci passed away this morning after a 5 year battle with Non-Hodgkins lymphoma. He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family and friends.
You will be missed by the entire dA community, Pat. You meant a lot to us. There are no words to express how unfortunate this is or how much we already miss you.

Ohhhhhh..... Damn. I asked him back in February 11th what tools he used to make his sketches. My word, I didn't think he was ill... I should have spoken with him more from then till today.
Well Patrick and Family. I wish you all well. I know death is painful for everyone involved. But hearing the details, I'm sure he was happy knowing he was with his family.
Once more being with his loved ones back on the other side. I'm sure he'll be waiting for you guys as well as the rest of us. See you soon Patrick, you're back home once more.

i hadnt looked at his gallery before, but i did now and he was a
good artis...
and people "love" things to bring the word out to other people on DA ,
for example the ones with most love are on the front page and people can also display
the news they loved on their page...

I'm extremely sad to hear this...I'm a cancer survivor myself I was really lucky, and it's always sad to hear that some one has died from it, even more sad when you some what know what they were going through...all forms of cancer are horrible to go though. I'm very sad to here that he lost his life to it...he will live on in his art.
Rest In Peace Patrick Carlucci, you were a gifted artist and we will all miss you.
