You stared out the the window of your room. The moon was on its fullest; its light illuminating the landscapes, making the mountains and the trees appear mystifying.

Your bare feet hardly make any sound as you silently walked out of the room you shared with Sasha. Everyone was fast asleep but you still have to be careful. You didn't want anyone to wake up and question you. You didn't want to explain to them why you were walking towards the lance corporal's room, donned only with your sleeping clothes.

When you reached the door leading to his room, you raised your hand to knock, only to stop upon realizing that you don't have to. You took a deep breath as you open the door.

The room was dimly lit. Most of the light was coming from outside, a little coming from a single candle on the desk. The wax melting and flowing like tears.

Your heart almost stopped at the sight of him. He was sitting on the chair behind his desk. His eyes were casted outside, gazing at the bright moon, just like what you were doing moments ago. His handsome features were accentuated by the clash of light and shadow on his face. He was wearing his usual clothes minus his jacket which was folded and draped neatly behind his chair.

"I was expecting you, [Name]."

His voice startled you for a moment. You've been with him for numerous times yet with only the sound of his voice, he could make you into a stammering mess. His gaze shifted to you, his dark obsidian eyes piercing into your very soul. You stiffened at his intense gaze, your eyes glued to the floor. Your feet felt numb, rooted on the spot a few steps away from the door.

Noticing that you weren't planning to get any closer, Levi stood up, his chair made a slight scraping noise. He blew the candle off before turning to walk towards you. You felt his cold fingers on your chin, tilting your head up gently, making you look up to him. His eyes were even more beautiful up close. Despite looking so cold, you see them as warm. Like when you hold a block of ice for too long and later on, would feel a burning sensation on your fingers.

He moved his head forward. His lips captured yours in a kiss. It started of gentle but eventually became more fierce with every passing second. His mouth would pry yours open, not even bothering to ask for your approval. You were not one to complain, though.His tongue would slither in your mouth, the taste of him intoxicating you. Your hand gripped on to his shirt. The material was so thin that you could feel his taut muscles underneath.

You were too caught up from the kissing that you yelped when you felt something hit the back of your knee, making you fell backwards. Levi's hand supported your fall on the soft cushions. His bed smells exactly like him, pine and lemons, and it floods your senses.

He buried his face on the nape of your neck. You felt his body went rigid as he inhaled sharply. He pulled back and hovered above you.

You reached up to his face, gently caressing his cheek with your thumb. You then moved your hand to part the hair that was covering his eyes.

And so it has began...

His eyes were not in its usual cool gray hue but rather, they were crimson red as blood. His pupils were dilated into thin slits.

"I'm sorry." He whispered, razor sharp fangs starting to protrude. His eyes looked conflicted. He hated that he had to give in to his carnal desires and in the process, hurt you.

You smiled and pulled him closer to you, placing soft butterfly kisses on his face. "I understand, Levi."

He caressed the soft spot on your neck with his lips, his tongue darting out to taste the skin. You ran your hand through his hair, not wanting to think about the impending pain that would surely fall upon you.

Then, he sank his teeth into you. The pain was excruciating. You felt burning tears flow out of your eyes and was briefly reminded of the candle earlier. Burning, dying slowly, melting, flowing like tears.

You were in so much pain that you didn't notice Levi stop feeding from you. His eyes were filled with worry and distress. He used the back of his hand to wipe the small bead of sweat forming in your forehead.

"It's okay now, [Name]. It's over." He reassured you while planting soft, butterfly kisses on your face, just like you did before.

You smiled weakly at him, relieved that this night was over. He laid beside you on the bed and pulled you to him. Your hands were on his chest, head on his shoulder. You closed your eyes, loving the feeling of his fingers stroking your back.

He is Humanity's Strongest Soldier, yet he can also be humanity's threat.
But if your blood can keep him calm, then this would be your sacrifice for humanity.
If your blood can keep Levi alive, then this would be your sacrifice for him.
