For the August 22 Daily Sketch Challenge : Robin

My favorite Robin is actually Carrie Kelly, but I felt like drawing Red Robin for this one.

I am a big fan of Alex Ross' version of Dick Grayson in Kingdom Come. When I saw Red Robin creeping out from the shadows after hitting those pink guys with his batarang, I instantly fell in love with the character. Sure, literally anyone can look super awesome if he's painted by Alex Ross, but you have to admit, Red Robin's costume design is absolutely sick.

I wish I was able to draw some shadows or detail for the side of his head. Nothing was coming out right, so I just left it blank. I left his eye blank too, for the same reasons.
