I get vertigo looking up into this shot! The black and white works so well here, bringing together the black metal lines of the wheel, with the willowy lines of the tree branches.

I love it! The angle makes the Riesenrad look majestic, towering, yes, even menacing. The gnarly branches of the tree seem to reach out for the wheel. At the same time, they create a good counterbalance and fitting frame. To my eyes, this picture is perfectly composed. Having said this, I enjoy black & white photographs, especially those "dark" ones, very much. There's simply atmosphere in this photo. Retro-futuristic, perhaps a bit end-of-times-like. A setting which reminds me of those old films like H.G. Wells' "The Time Machine".

Well done! In fact, I'm faving your picture, since I honestly enjoy it very much, and I think that more people should see it.
