Thanks! I do my best to recapture the style of the older games like Rayman 3, with a bit of Origins and Legends mixed in with it. I made some Rayman sketches back on Friday 13th, you think I should post them. (there're mainly character expression studies)

I wonder about Joe sometimes; he's an alien after all! What planet does he come from? How'd he land in the Glade? Is he from a planet Admiral Razorbeard conquered? Is he just another one of Polokus' dreams that just looks like a stereotypical space kook? It's all interesting.

I kinda have two continuity's for Joe, one for the Rp, the other for normal stuff.
I'd love for the stuff in the Rp to be a surprise, soo I'll answer with what I normally have with him.
He came from a planet that's entirely populated with limbless green folk, making Rayman more of a welcoming sight when he came to his planet, and by came I mean crashlanded, because his entire planet was in the process of being enslaved, because Razorbead just do what Razorbeard do.
Although I like to think that each planet has its own god or something like that, with his god being super chill, carefree, and overall gave no shit's to fight over the Heart of the World with the other god's cuz that's how the Aliens do.
Although I wonder what Razorbeard does to those gods once the deed is done, would those Squids be more merciful in comparison?
