Description
Scilla is the working title for an environment in Marked.
It's either an ethereal/ ghosty? place, or a start on our watery coastline. We'll see what turns out in the end!

These are some bits and peices I've been working on over the past few weeks. Some of the face rocks and the angel wing trees ^^ The colors aren't final, it's just been a nice pallete to work with.
I really want the lands in my game to be unique and memorable, so I've really been putting all my effort and creativity into them.

Why Scilla?
It's actually a kind of funny story why I've started using this for this land.
I work at a small town gas station, and was at the register.
I start ringing up this maybe 18/19 y.o. guy. He's super awkward acting and obviously a fantasy nerd.
Which is totally awesome, thats pretty much my demographic ^^
So he asks quietly about my arm tattoo, I inform him it is a unique monster, based off of a kraken.
He gets visibly excited, and goes into an enthusiastic narrative on the different varients and speices of kraken and other sea monsters, one of which was the scilla. It was adorable XD

But anyways, that name stuck with me, and I decided to go with it!
