Hayley is trying to earn time by carolling at different houses on Christmas Eve. At this point she's been cursed so long that her cousin that he was chaperoning that unfortunate halloween is now old enough to chaperone her.
A little something I actually sketched last year but never finished, hence why some things might seem off, I originally sketched Hayley with short hair here but I've since adjusted her backstory so I gave her her normal hair length. And yes the two depicted are blood relatives.
