That's actually pretty much how the first meeting of these buggers went down. Dehydrating party in the desert, one of them suggests that cactuses retain a lot of water, when an axe to the cactus produces blood the party freaks the hell out, giant beast unearths itself and combat music plays, lol.

Yeah, pretty tall, he's an ent like species firstly, but he's also based off of the American Saguaro Cactus: Carnegiea gigantea The characteristic "western" cactus, as you can guess by the name they're pretty big, he basically has those growing on his back, the beast itself can range from as low as 9 feet to as tall as 35+ feet. Larger individuals definitely exist, they live extremely long and can become very large over time, often having way more cactus heads that can give the appearance of cluster of the plant.

So, basically, we would possibly be in the edge of deshydratation AND purchased by an over 35 feet creature... lovely ballad, I say !

holy shit dude, a cactus man! i like the frightening look you gave him, the skull face is awesome and the spiky texture is cool, i woulnd´t like to encounter this morbid humanoid in the desert.

Thanks man, and that's a good descriptor, they're pretty frightening to encounter, lurking in the sand they have the appearance of a regular bunch of cactuses, until someone comes close enough and they unearth themselves. Killing them is just as bad, as their metabolisms are super slow due to the scarcity of food, cutting them open you'll usually be greeted with human skulls and blood.
