I really buying and making cards for special occasions and here is a mash-up of some I made in the past year.----------------------------------------------------
[1] Valentine's Pocky Box
As soon as I saw 's super adorable Pocky box a year ago, I had to make my own for my boyfriend. Lots of inside jokes and things that make no sense to the general public.

[2] Graduation Card
For bf's graduation. Stole this card idea from an old Christmas card.
[3] Birthday card
My best friend's birthday today! (Jan 3) I love pop-up cards and I very unoriginally borrowed the pattern from Canon, who has some awesome pop-up cards. Redrew all the pieces by hand.

You totally should try, paper crafts are soo fun. The box shape, it's pretty easy. It's kinda hard to explain so maybe I'll make a tutorial some time

Cool! Your cards as well as other artists I've seen on DA has really fascinated me. Well actually I was planning on making some for some of my friends as they are moving away Jan./Feb. but I';; wait and see if not then I'll need to think of some kind of alternative xD But I really have an urge to do something with paper recently xD

getting a present from you is a bliss! i have to say, my favourite was the Tarepanda card (its so amazing that this little cake just pops up from between the two pages! A true surprise- the last thing I would see coming! and... also, I love tarepandas.) but all of them are incredibly cute.

It didn't take too long, actually! Once you have all the pieces you just glue-em together. 2 hrs tops! Just check out the site

FIRST~ beastly domination
the box is so cute *0* but the grad card is suuuuuuuper nice~~ AND the birthday card.. I sat at Barnes and Noble for hours looking at their pop up cards trying to figure out how to make them with no avail xD
