Yes, the classics will still reign supreme in my mind, however I did find Shadow the Hedgehog actually enjoyable, the only REAL flaw being Shadow was the only playable character.
The one that came out on the 360/ps3 ...ehh.. yeah that was rushed to hell and back. Although i DID actually like Silver. He had interesting gameplay (IE ripped off PsiOPs) and he actually had CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT, something sorely lacking in... just about everything.
But yeah, a couple comments up, I said I'm looking foreward to the new one. Gameplay looks fast, the graphics (for now) are Very pleasing, and there's a few shots of a badass mech WITH FUCKING REVOLVER HANDS Eggman's piloting.
I'm not too keen on this "were-wolf" thing... I actually really like were-wolves, vampires, and other such monsters... but.. it doesn't seem to make much sense... I mean.. it can't really be a were WOLF can it?! That would be silly... and even if it's just some kinda huge berserker mode... why would sonic even need that?
HOWEVER I will say if what ever that thing is has game-play consisting of punching the ever living fuck out of things, spinning-piledriver-ing robots into cars, and causing things to inappropriately explode, the hell yeah.

My big problem with Shadow was that they just made him too whiny for a while. You expected him to start cutting himself with his spines.
Silver, I just dislike because he's so overpowered. He can fly, move things with his mind, use chaos control (Like everyone else), and is just broken as hell. Forgivable, though, as he was something that was unseen before in the other games.
Well, I guess a werewolf hedgehog isn't much stranger then a werewolf dude. The only difference is that Sonic's an animal to start with. Also, if what I heard was right, it's more because that's what happens to people in the place he goes to, then an actual infection of lycanthropy. Kinda like the Twilight Realm in Zelda, only everyone does it.

Dude. If ANY game involved a werewolf punching the ever living fuck out of things, spinning-piledriver-ing robots into cars, and causing things to inappropriately explode, that would be the best game ever, regardless of who the werewolf was. It would certainly beat "Werewolf; The Last Warrior" for the NES, where you played a wolf guy with sword arms that fought ninjas, Shrek on rocket skates, and the Juggernaut (bitch).

Unleashed by FAR. It looks like a super upgraded Rush/Rivals, It's got potential th ebe the game i've waited for since the death of the Dreamcast.
Sonic Chronicles just seems like... cannon fanfiction... And no running? Lame.
Still, I'm happy playing the Genesis titles.
