Yes;The Cyborg (supposed to be Kano from Mortal Combat) rips out the zombie (based on Cyril from House of the Dead)'s heart. The heart's still beating. And there's bleeding.
They got what would normally by a R-rated scene into a kids movie. The producers have balls.

And on top of that, I've seen a lot worse.
Like in Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, in one scene, the Demonic Nergal rips his own heart out. And that was still for kids.
Or, in Adventure Time, with Ricardio, who is the Ice King's own heart torn out and then brought to life by a spell gone horribly wrong. And then he attempted to rip Princess Bubblegum's heart out with a broken bottle. And that was still for kids.
I'm sure I can think of more like that too.

AI'm not so sure about that.. Things have changed a lot over the years and what once wasn't acceptable then is more acceptable now and even then the censors were more about keeping sex and nudity out of the stories..If you look at it that way and consider doing things like killing evil queens turn hags and women turned into dragons and other stuff that got past the "censors" ... it's then you know that censorship is more about keeping the sex and nudity out.. In other words.. censorship still sucks...
But still it was a great moment in the movie and a real tribute to bloody fighting that is... Mortal Kombat..

they got away with violence in old games by turning all the blood green and the enemy into "Zombies" might be a refrence to that

Also, another part like that. How when they'd kill the Cybugs in Hero's Duty in the movie, they'd bleed Green Blood everywhere (but not Red Blood).
