A very impressive idea for a make-believe beast of burden.

Strange yet cool pair. Would like to take a pic if I saw one in real life.

If this was a mount or pet in an MMO
my wallet would literally vomit money
at the developers.

Interesting. I wonder how far their symbiotic relation goes & what each contributes to the other in terms of food & survival. perhaps the crab defends the relative undefended squid who then supplies the crab with a constantly moisturized shell & gills...

that's a very accurate guess

The crab does the agricultural stuff while the squid talk to the Old Ones for dark blessings.

The squid keeps the crab mad enough to carry his fat body around. The call of the squid

Perhaps it can serve as a lookout with its keen senses, and help navigate with its greater intelligence.

This is a really gorgeous concept! I love your use of colours, and the addition of the orc really adds a nice size comparison. Plus the creature is very adorable in its own way. To nitpick the spelling in the description a little, in the phrase "...they are breed and cared for by..." the word "breed" should be "bred" since the rest of the description is in past tense. However, that's only a minor error in the grammar, and doesn't actually effect the beauty of the art itself.

Thanks so much! I Used a previous text, so thanks for that detail. I suck at proofreading

You're welcome! Proofreading doesn't come naturally to everyone, and even those who nit pick at grammar (like myself) will overlook mistakes from time to time, so don't feel bad.

Beautifully done. I never even knew it was two creatures living symbiotically off of each other until I read the description (the aesthetic between the two of them meshes so naturally).

This is just...absolutely fantastic. I'm a HUGE fan of symbiotic organic relationships. Currently I'm developing species for the planet where the plants and animals co-exist like this, but I'm liking the two animal approach, very cool.
