I can see how this one would be easier to draw, but I liked the last one more.

i love how the solid parts of Cthulhu's extradimensional body reminds me of the stones of R'lyeh, and i love the "blobs" of spatial ink in the background.

everybody loves giving Eldritch beings a ruggged, almost crocodile like leathery skin, the idea of making their skin transparent, like a membrane remembers me of the "Stellar Vampire" so of course love how you play with it and show it's internal structure! this is an insta-fave XD

I'm imagining his skin isn't actually transparent, but since he occupies more than the standard three spatial dimensions our senses can perceive, we can only see a three-dimensional sliver of his actual form. Basically Rudy Rucker's concept of the forth dimension .

been a while since i had such a mind-blown read, thanks for the link! and...when you think of it, that actually does explain how organism that seem just mismatched and "out of proportion" for us could be completely viable and functional XD

I like that he has a few different faces depending on how you look at him.

I love how the shoulders and "wings" look like they have a membrane over it. Very cool.

Thank You! yeah, I tried to give the guy a new texture since it's very often shown with a solid/opaque surface
