Long long ago, before astronomers realized that the billions and billions of stars in the universe weren't fixed in place, there was a concept known as the Astral Sphere, which was a sphere fixed in place that had all of the stars embedded in it. you really did that with Apophysis? what transformations did you use mostly? did you use a special script? it really is lovely, I've been trying to get things like that to come out of it when I do it.

Mostly used Rings2, it looks like. Although the center appears to be Juliascoped. I've got a Juliascope tutorial buried in my gallery that you might want to check out.
