Made these two pics of Adrion and decided to make them a whole piece. I did it because I wanted to do a sort of "duality" image regarding Adrion's character; The left represents his rage, and the right one represents his sadness. Adrion uses the persona of a hot-headed tough guy to mask his true emotions, his sadness in particular. Due to his powers, his past wasn't the easiest. The kids in the orphanage found him scary due to his demonic appearance, which fluctuated a lot due to his lack of control of his powers. He could also not play with other children due to fear of him hurting someone due to his strength. To hide his feelings of loneliness and rejection, he developed a "tough guy persona" as a defense/ coping mechanism.

Even as an adult, he uses this persona to mask that sadness, as well as to intimidate his enemies. But as seen from the image on the right, there's times where the mask slips, and sorrow replaces anger. I made that side human to show emphasize his humanity, while the other emphasizes his demon side, the red skin further symbolizing rage. But maybe Adrion finally found people he can trust, and not use this mask? We will see soon enough.
