Just as he's been there for you once before. ^_^Did this sketch a week ago or so, can be considered a continuation of 'Splinter's Dillemma'.
I wanted to test out some lighting and shading, so this became my experiment of sorts. Happy I am with how Donnie, Splinter and Leo came out...but Mikey and Raph could use a bit more work *somewhere*
So, Splinter's probably fallen asleep waiting for his sons to return and they decide to leave him be as he is (asides adding a bit of comfort). Raph's grumbling something about "Shouldn't have waited up for us...*mumblegrumble*", but helps Leo put their Sensei-Papa to bed anyways. Leo says nothing, just smiles since he knows how Raph really feels about things. Donnie's warning Mikey to leave them and sensei some slices of microwave-warmed pizza. And Mikey as usual, oblivious to everthing else other than his pepperoni pizza pie.
Again, excuse the horrible excuse of a background. >_>
I shouldn't be doing this, damnit. I have assignmentsss..argghh...Can't help myself. SELF CONTROL. YES.

And this is why I love Ninja Turtles so much. Not for the action and comedy, (though those elements just add to how awesome it is) but mostly for the family dynamic. They truly are a very odd family, yet something about them is so sweet a sincere, it just hits me right in the FEELS! Whether it's the bond the turtles have with themselves or especially with their master/father. 
Great work you did with the lighting. You really captured them all perfectly.

When I think about it, something called Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is really just the stupidest thing ever, but the way it's pulled off, and because of epic fans like you... it's amazing and sweet. Sweet dreams, Master Splinter.

I love the color and lighting of this scene. A few things that bother me, though - the highlights on the easy chair (the ones closest to us) don't make sense with the rest of them.

Ah this is so precious! I really liked how you said "as he was once there for you" and now they are taking care of him in return. It is a beautiful and super well done fanart, especially for how many characters are included and the background and each object, I really like how your art looks realistic and has so much attention to detail, such as shading, folds in clothing, the bandages, etc. Great job and this is such a sweet idea, thanks so much and amazing work!
