Meant to be a background image for the previous scrap , but it was too cute not to make a standalone B3Claudius why the fuck do you have to be built like such a brick shithouse I mean the fangirl in me all a-flutter but my hands rebel, they do.
So, Tygra's first swordsmanship lesson with dear old (adopted) dad. I'm getting Simba-Mufasa vibes with less pouncing on hapless majordomos and more pining the pointy end of a wooden sword into the back of a grumpy sabretooth.
Lion-O doing it wrong, but he's four man, Give him a break. You're doing fine, kiddo.

Technically Lion-O's not doing anything wrong. In medieval times warriors would turn their swords around and use there guards and handles as blunt force weapons. Sometimes the guards would be sharpened to have a piercing power to them. Of course this technique was rarely used in battle and more for tournaments.

I think it is funny that Lion-o can't hold the sword right, but upside down. Also I glad I'm not the only one who thinks Tygra should have a tail. I pictured him still having the tail, but it is wrapped around his waist like a belt. If you look close to his new armor or the armor his wears most of the season, you can see that the armor has a small hole where his tail would fit, in the back of his armor. The tail thing, I believe has nothing to do with how rich or poor you are because the only cats with tails so far in the series is wilekit and kat and their family and the past pantro, but that is just my thought, I forgot Snarf has a tail.

The tail thing is actually confirmed by the writers themselves XDXD You can look it up.
In Thundarian culture your class is judged by how 'human' you look. The lower caste will more resemble cats/have tails.

well then, I guess Snarf is the lowest of the low because he looks nothing like a human, just joking because snarf is a pet. But I hope you now realized that Tygra comes from a royal family of tigers, so your theory you said in a past comment, is now proven false, but that was before we realized where Tygra came from.

I was scrolling down the comments and I noticed your theory about the tails and now you're inspiring me to write a fanfic (unless you wrote one already, which I would so read). Argh! I've got to stop it already. I already am in the middle of writing two, got a third one in my head and that comment is giving me a fourth idea.

There's a rather deep significance as to why Tygra has a tail, or at least it does in my personal headcannon X3
Tailed Thunderians are considered second-class citizens by tailless folk (Possibly why no one gave a shit about the Wilykits in their first appearance and why they had to resort to being artful dodgers), and we have absolutely no idea where Tygra was adopted from, so it's completely possible that he came from a lower caste (Lion-O's own ancestor or Panthera...as did Panthro had a tail in the flashbacks though Panthro clearly had his removed after the first war).
Of course, not being a lion nor even a member of the caste he was adopted into would have hit him extremely hard as a child---IMHO there was probably a time when he was extremely close to baby Lion-O in childhood, but that all changed when he figured out just where he stood in society and the royal family, no doubt after having been confronted by young tailless nobles who assume that he's a charity case.
So from there on, it's possible either the tail was lost in a scuffle with said noble brats, or he himself, wishing to be more than a spare to the throne took it off and turned into the slightly dickish perfectionist we all know and love in an attempt to show everyone that he wasn't a charity case and that he would become just as significant as Lion-O is, by sheer will if not lineage or caste.
Also perhaps a reason why he was more accepting of the Wilykits compared to Lion-O when they first met; not only are they orphaned as he was---he once came from the same tailed caste.
