And I could not ask for more Rhames as a single dad is pretty used to zipping off after long shifts at the PMC to run errands, get breakfast ready for his daughter, help her with her maths homework, do the school run, feed the Mons, get some housework done, maybe catch a short nap before he’s got to pick up his kid again and figure out lunch and tldr the man’s used to running on coffee and fumes and the mentality of a sole parent used to juggling everything and at some point Charlie is made aware of that he’s kind of running himself into the ground constantly and decides to step in every now and then to help him out bc pls Bear, you’re not alone anymore so let her help out with this and you sleep.
Even then he’s got trouble sleeping because he’s wired and anxious so after ZOe's school run they just spend time cuddling and talking in bed together so he can relax and get that good rest and for a few hours he’s at complete peace with the world.
