Description
Had a sudden brainworm for Preston Wan's (Human Prowl) development and wanted to jump ahead in the story where he actually ends up in the Functionist!Universe attempting to rescue a small group of Autobots who were stranded there (Ties That Bind plays with some of the plots from IDW 2005, with a new twist) and comes across Functionist Universe! Jace Zayden (Jazz) who is the reluctant leader of the group of rebels there after the deah of that universe's Omar Parvez (Optimus Prime) and the capture of his Matrix by the Senate Council.
The mission is to regain the Matrix, but it needs a new bearer and makes its choice in Jazz, who is uncertain if he really has what it takes to fill OP's shoes, and Prowl decided to have a quick heart to heart with him.
