Description
God I wish I was better at this... i really want to take photos of like.. colliding waterdroplets and really nice light&color... but all I can do with my low income is in the sink
But anyway, enough of whining. Watched some of Time Warp on youtube, and really got into it, wanted to create something...
I hope you enjoy it, it's very simple splashes in the sink. I have sooo many more, I guess ill have to make a collage and put them all together
Anyway, hope you enjoy
Have a good weekend
ps. critique enabled, but please be nice, it's been a while since high-speed macro shooting, and I never said I was good
pss. Thank you everyone!!! For all your sweet support, im stunned to have gotten so many favs
Thank you all very much, hope you have a splendid day

lol, nothing wrong with the sink! I spent a whole hour just dropping water droplets from my tap into a baking tray for an art project... I somehow enjoyed it too. Ya know, I don't think I've tried much macro stuff since, I must try it again now I've upgraded my camera!
Keep up the good work, I'd suggest tampering with the colours in PS, to experiment ^^ Plus I'd love to see a big blown up version of one, so I can see all the dtails. Of course with watermark

Wow, this is gorgeous! Would love to see them as individual deviations too, especially the one to the right. And in the sink too... how on earth do you get it light enough to take high-speed shots?

onixa In reply to CarrotStalker [2009-06-06 19:36:21 +0000 UTC]
a flash with a diffuser, however it's still not good enough... or im too slow
Thank you sweetie!

nice, but those photos are kinda tricky, the focus mostly.. i tried it once and gave up haha.. please don't follow my steps
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
onixa In reply to javoec [2009-06-05 05:41:41 +0000 UTC]
thanks, yeah it is... thats mostly my problem. can never get the focus right.. and i can't seem to use a tripod because it's always either too tall or too short and the water moves too much.. OMG it's so frustrating
Thanks anyway

I actually like these more than some of the "professional" ones I have seen. I like how there's a flat disc-like shape and how sharp the focus is.
