It's been a while since I did a drawing for my pokedex project. I have this Butterfree sketched since February I think. Can't remember.
I tried another one layer painting. I also edited it to have a Pink Version and a Shiny Version but don't know it I'll post it here. Maybe on any of my other social media.
Butterfree is one of my fave pokemon, it was one of the first I catched in my Crystal version, I really wanted one so badly. It was called Fuzzyt.
Funny fact: I hatched 3 Shiny Caterpie in my Y Version andone of them is called Scenthief. It has Compound Eyes and helps me to gather items from wild pokemon

very colourful! could you tell me how you chose the lemon and rosy shades on the wings?

I play with layer mode (usually multiply and overlay), also I tend to change colors with hue/saturation filter, in this cae I started with just pink but then I changed the first layer for lemon since green was one of main colors. I wanted something colorful and out of blue and violet tones wich are the ones I use often.

Butterfree fue uno de mis primeros pokemon que capture. Es uno de mis bichos favoritos, su diseño que enamora, es super util gracias a que sabe a tipo psiquico, etc. Prefiero tenerla de nuevo que usar a Vivillon. Fue años desde que capture uno en rojo fuego y lo volvi a capturar en Luna y la llame Carrie... creo. Es precioso
