As funny as it seems, I've never done reference sheets for my oldest characters and I want to change that. I mean, I did like... 3 references like... more than 10 years ago, now those are very old with a terrible anatomy that has gladly evolved.

Skyfler is one of those that had a heavy redesign before posting his first drawing in internet. His fur was still white in most of his body, but had patches of blueish gray in his body and the feathers... well, those looked more like an ornament around his neck and just the tip of his tail... that looked more like a flower bulb waiting to blossom.

That was the only drawing of him for a long time, until I started to write my Pokémon fanfic. I kept the main concept of being Flying type, but for a second I thought on adding Dragon aswell, so I started drawing the feather in such a way that might also look as escales. And of course, the feathers have to be even more than the original art, because his power over the wind was casted through the feathers. So that's how he's fluffy feathered tail was born. Eventually, the Dragon type idea was scraped but the tail remains, which gives him that singularity between the rest of his brothers. And the color of the feathers was to related him to the wind and, also, was a color not present in any of the other characters. In this way, he became one of my prettiest boys.

After that "big change" over his design, he hasn't changed that much, the only change is my way to draw the tail and make it look actually soft and fluffy.
