.....Also, if I'm completely out of line just tell me, did you use a guide of any sort when you were figuring out how to make the distinctly horse-like ears? I'm trying to do a My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (Fluttershy) cosplay, and I can't figure out how to do horse ears.....I've been looking for guides to help me do it my own way (they're going to be fashioned to headbands, not hats), but I haven't found any good ones.
I'm probably just going to end up fooling around with it and seeing what works best.

Not out of line at all X) hehe.
Nope, didnt use any guides for the ears, I start by making a hat with "test ears" and then cut and add to them until they look the way I want them.
These ears have a kind of baby bowling pin shape when they are flattened out....wide at the middle and bottom and narrower about 1/4 on the top ( if that makes any sense XD ) I'm horrible at explaining things X) sorry
