Description
A witch's first goal is usually to extend their lifespan, often indefinitely. These rituals are abundant and varied, but are never easy to perform. Most witches who try, fail and perish. Some however who fail have horrible curses and mutations placed on them, such as the horrifying Witch of Hunger. Originally, the blessing she was meant to place on herself would extend her life indefinitely so long as she was able to find food. Unfortunately, something went wrong, and a terrible curse was placed on her instead, emptying out her body and filling her with a constant need to feed. Any point in which she is unable to find food for long enough, her curse manifests and begins to eat away at her husk of a body. The Witch of Hunger has lost all humanity, opting instead to hunt and scavenge like an animal, stalking prey and using her many sharp teeth to rip into their flesh. She isn't picky about her meal, anything can be consumed, wild game, fresh fruits, rotten meat, or her most common meal, people. Be wary of your travels adventurer, lest you hear her awful hollow steps in the trees.
