Yes, it's sad that it was just a last episode fanservice, HOWEVER I always consider the possibility of the movie being such a huge success that they decide to bring the tv series back. it happened more than once with normal series, so I don't see why it can't happen again, specially because they're such famous penguins. I mean, wich other famous penguins we hear about? The put penguins on a lot of series and movies but the only ones that are really famous are the madagascar ones, Happy Feet and Pingu (and I'm just being a good girl considering Pingu here, because he's not from movies). Pen Pen from Evangelion is famous too, but the list stops here.

it reminds of the episode they finally appeard :'D it was frikin' funny XD but it disapoint me a little bit too :/ I felt weird when I saw them :/ DreamWorks shouldn't do that, or at least make someday an episode about their funny past :'D
