was thinking about how pastelpunk and abby are kinda a mixup of some really old designs i made for TFT in like,,,, 2018, with the OG designs being a bunny/fish thing and a devil that was made up of different coloured body parts, and i was also thinking about sparkledogs, so April was born.
April was Abby's OG name! the glowing blue cheeks are a reference to the fact that there aren't any crows in New Zealand, and the North island kokako has a blue wattle/cheeks that could kinda look like eyes since its actual eyes are black, and anthro!pastelpunk does have blue eyes....
I'm not dead-set on the colour order of the ear tips/arms/legs/eyes/cheeks, but every time i switch them around it just looks about the same so i settled on this LOL. the orange/lime-green eyes are a reference to my nana's dog, who has heterochromia with one brown eye and one yellow/orange eye. you don't notice at first until you look her straight in the face X)
....i mean, i also have heterochromia that's hard to notice, but i usually either draw that cyan/brown or give myself green eyes for fun ╎p

.....................i'm going to uni in 14 days and im still using X) and ╎p. i'll see you all in hell.
