The story

She remembers the times,
When He had her,
and she had Him,
Don't lie,
She knows you remember the times,

It hurt so badly,
Didn't it? Didn't it?
She said enough sorrys,
So you say,
So you see,
She keeps waiting patiently,

Yet she sees the scars and tears,
Left behind from previous years,
She thought again about the times,
You never asked why it hurt inside,

She never gave an answer,
Because you never asked,
You never asked,
About her past,
She always knew they might not last,

When He and she showed up there,
You tried your best,
To gin and bear,
But even though you tried,
She never saw you smile,
The smile that now makes her life,
Worth while,

Then one day they lost one another,
No Him,
No Her,
They were dead to eachother,

But after all is said and through,
Does He love her the way that you do?
So in love,
You and her are,
But He does not think that He was left far,

And the fact that He was,
And He may not know,
That the only answer He will get is "because"
Because he is dead to her,
In everything He does,
