I think you made the right choice, sticking with colour here. Β The warm hues really help to bring atmosphere to this pic. Β If you had gone to monochrome, I think it might have come off more austere and flat.

B & W, to me, is overrated. Nothing beats color. Color can just show so much more as far as everything is concerned: your beauty, color, shadow, light, and overall visual impressions.
