Description I'm not sure how many times I've been to Riverbanks Zoo, but this is the first time that the koalas have ever actually been active. I was so excited. This one is the baby that I was so bummed about not being able to see last year when they first debuted him. So he's not a baby anymore but he's still adorable.

erg. I hate koalas! they are mean and nasty and keep you awake all night with their stupid growling noises.

I'm pretty sure I have never seen a koala picture posted on any social media and/or art site that didn't have at least one Australian saying how awful they are. DAMN YOU AUSTRALIA! KNOCK IT OFF!

But yeah, as long as they stay away from me and keep being cute I'm fine with them being evil. And while I've never been kept awake by koalas (which sounds like it could be an obscure punk band's name) if I substitute it with "owls" I totally understand. HOLY SHIT OWLS ARE LOUD!

Seriously! I'm pretty sure the only reason they were awake is that one of the zoo employees was going into each habitat to... I don't know, check on them or something. And this one seemed quite upset when she left. Again, adorable. X3
