Description
When we first saw Phineas he was "fired up" and was a beautiful chocolate color, but by the time we got home his color had lightened. Still, even with the lighter color he looks different than Ferb, which is what we wanted.

So far things seem to be going well with the little critter. Ryan put a crap ton of fake plants in the tank so finding him can be harder than finding Waldo and Carmen Sandiego put together, but we'll usually end up seeing his tail eventually. After all that's happened I feel the need to check to make sure he's still alive fairly frequently. (Without bothering him of course.)

Phineas is a crested gecko.
