Sometimes they just get in the way, don't they?Frank got new hands! I initially sold my fauna arms because I really don't like the fluff on them, but decided to buy a pair when I saw other people sanding the fluff off. In the end the pair I bought were cheaper than the ones I'd sold so it worked out in the end. Now I just have to get the fluff sanded.
Frank is an Amber from Soom.

I love her blue hair and the way her ears stick out of it. I also love the way her expression was created. A lot of times, ball joint dolls tend to have fierce or sallow expressions, but she look serene and natural :3

With her human legs (which she's using here) she's 65cm. With her hooves I'm told she's 68cm, but I've never measured her myself or anything.

It never dawned on me that it wasn't a universally used term.
Though it's not as if "bangs" makes any sense in reference to hair but sadly I just speak the language, I don't try to understand it.

Ah, I have talked to a friend of mine that has a SOOM and she hasn't had issues with the hands breaking on her.
I finally found a couple of places here in NYC where I can get volks dolls, but I wish that they weren't so damn expensive!

I'm just paranoid. I also have certain poses (like her leaning back on her hands) that there's no way I'd do with these. But that's why she has multiple pairs!
Her other new hands are sitting at the PO right now, and I should be picking them up after work. I hope I like them. I got her some jointed hands, and I got her girl ones (for obvious reasons I think) but someone else has said that the girl hands looked too small on her Soom doll. I'm used to tiny CP hands though, so hopefully the small size doesnt bother me. I actually really hate the Soom Supergem default girl hands, I think they look manly.
