Description
This is my first submission to my art group R4z0r . Hope you guys like this one, and look forward to more in r4z0r's art packs. This is a one time deal, Im pretty sure my art group wouldn't want me showing off our pieces before the final unvieling of the next pack. But, I liked this one so much I thought you guys should get to see it a bit earlier. Here it is, Death Do Us Part.Hope you catch the emotion of this picture. The title explains it all if you think deep enough to pick up on the tie it has with this picture.

nice details in this! this type of work is very much alien to me - no pun intended - but it's definitely a joy to look at. well done!

Thanks man, glad that you like it. I tried to smooth that planet at the bottom to keep up with the depth feeling. I think I screwed it up as well Thanks for the

Np man. I think its plainly just the amtmosphere which is making it look so fluffy. May i ask what planet tutorials you follow or have followed before that you use as a based routine. I know i can help you develop, if you help me make that funky shit you did

I dunno, I haven't been into it for a while. Best advice I can give is to get yourself a copy of apophysis and mess around with it. That's all that I did. [link] Apophysis 1 is what I'd go with, the new apophysis programs don't make the fractals the same way and they don't look correct. You can find some tutorials on apophysis at * Apophysis . If you need anymore help just hit me up with a note, I'll get back to ya.

ya, i already have the program, but thanks for the advice. I'd seriously go look at scifisrc for the planet tutorials i put up there. Especially Dinyctis'

I'm content with the way my planets look, but I'll have a look if I get stuck or need further advice. I've looked at dinyctis' tut, it is definitely a good one. I'll have a look at yours now. I'm thinking about doing another piece tonight.

That's gorgeous. The red and black look so good together, and the fractal pattern makes for a beautiful fire.

All mine are to small to make wallies. When I make a new piece i'll make it big enough to be able to make wallpapers out of it.

Hey pretty cool, I like the sense of depth, following a line of sight along the planets. Starfield's a bit dense, but it still looks good.

The nova is about 10 fractals manipulated.

Interesting idea to use a fractal generator for the nebula, it turned out very well. I assume you touched it up in photoshop too? Anyway, nicely done.

I like the depth at the upper right. The lower(bigger) planet is maybe a little unsharp/smooth, but the blast at the top looks very nice. Great work, keep following your individual style on the comming pictures.

Onorok In reply to Gjermis [2004-03-08 13:29:05 +0000 UTC]
I was actually trying to make it less sharp to give it more of a depth of view...I dunno if I accomplished that or not, but if I did, it would need to be less sharp. Thanks for the comment
