This has been waiting forever for me to finish it. A character sheet for Zea. Finally. Mostly so I can do art trades with other people. It could be better, but for now, it covers the bases.Β In case your wondering, the outfit in the bottom left corner with the mask helmet is her ceremonial Guardian duds. It's what she wears for her role as Wyndoge's handler.Related content

She looks interesting! I don't think I've seen a character with a hand like that before; makes me wonder what happened to her. Nice work on the detail and color scheme.

She was born with it.Β I had it in mind that Zea comes from an arboreal tribe of Southerners and to her people her stunted hand is seen as a curse because it makes it harder for her to grip and climb the trees in the forest where her people live. But even though her hand might not be perfect, she has the right attitude needed to be the guardian of the Southern Kingdom.
I actually got the inspiration after watching this amazing documentary about a South Korean pastor who built a baby depository box where mothers could leave their unwanted children instead of abandoning them on the street. One of the kids who had grown up in his care was born with deformities in both hands that left him with stunted fingers. He was teased because of his hands when he first started going to school, but after he proved to his classmates that he could still do anything they could even with his short fingers, he won their admiration and was actually elected class president.

Ooh, interesting backstory. o3o I remember that documentary from a while ago! Sometimes the truth really is stranger than fiction.
