How do you know if a snake is happy? Cats and Dogs let know know by wagging tails or snuggling.

I am new to snake keeping and Wheatley is my first snake so I'm still learning their body language. When they are being all curious and exploring with a quick tongue response, they are normally comfortable with their environment, but I still have lots to learn about them. I do know when they are stressed though. Hissing and striking is a sign of stress or anger. Ball pythons are usually docile though so they normally won't do that. Though, young ball pythons do, but it is mainly a food response. Most ball pythons will curl up in a tight ball with their head in the center when stressed or upset. I know a YouTuber called 1softkiss and she's been raising snakes for over 53 years and knows a lot about them. I can ask her a bit more info if you wish.
