Yup. I sound very nasally, but my ears tell me I have a normal voice so I always get caught off guard when I hear it in a recording or phone echo.

Yeah, I know that feeling. I sound like a women over a recorded voice and over the phone. You would not believe the number of times I've been called "mama" or "miss" by customer service. Half the time, I don't even bother correcting them.
