I did set everything up (focus, camera settings, idea, time of the day, tripod on the right position...). Then I asked someone to press the shutter for me at the right moment. After a few attempts I got what I wanted, so I think I can consider it a self portrait lol

Well... in my opinion... it's a great work... but it's not a self-portrait lol

But I'm not going to argue about that, because the work is indeed very good, and all of the result is "your idealization" only!

You're right, but the major problem of doing this shot without help would be to rise from the water at the exact time of the shutter... My camera has an option to program the timer for 2, 5, 10 or 20 seconds
