georgous! i learned recently that zebra's are black with white stripes, not white with black stripes. what an amazingly beautiful animal! fantastic capture!!!

This is a great picture; the monochrome treatment increases the dramatic effect.
What is this animal thinking, looking down the business end of your telephoto lens?
Oh, and I can answer your question. One side is white with black stripes and the other is black with white stripes.......but I can't remember which is which.

Thanks a bunch, I'm glad you dig it! But I must say that I was glad that this animal decided to look through my telephoto lens, then I took the shot, it was like a pose of it! I realized that it was the perfect angle, but it decided to pose just once
Anyways, this zebra thing is driving me nuts, I can't decide it as well

If you were to shave a zebra you would discover that he is black with white stipes. Before the unborn zebra's coat grows it is black-skinned.
