Thank you again...
I really like your work as well.Β I was in Germany last spring, I really loved the parts that I saw, Munich and part of the country side, some more rural areas.Β I have it on my list to go back at some point.

Hey Nigel,
Wow - that is a great compliment! Thank you so very much.
I am constantly trying to get better with the camera, mostly concentrating on detail or perspective. Therefore I'd consider my landscape pictures surely not the most interesting pieces. It is so great that you like them, nevertheless. It is highly appreciated.
But otherwise, you are right: Germany has got some great places. I recently moved to the AllgΓ€u region which is just East of Munich (which I have yet to discover). I have always loved this part of the country, especially because of the mountains. It feels like vacation just to take a ride on the country roads at the weekend. Wonderful to charge up the batteries for a new week at the office! So, I hope you can experience some of that when you re-visit Germany someday.
Hopefully I can also get you some idea of life over here. I got some photographs from my new home town and other beautiful natural wonders that I want to share ... if I only find the time to upload them.
Greetings to Canada
Miou

Hello Miou,
You are welcome.
Yes, that is the same for me, I am always trying new things, and seeing what I can do with which camera etc.Β The Landscapes are really nice, you get a sense of the place looking at them.Β I liked your new picture, I was at castle Neuschwanstein and so the landscape reminds me of the train and bus rides last year.Β I was really impressed and surprised by the May Poles that each village still has, and I had never seen bridges with the "Love Locks" attached.Β We don't have that tradition over here yet.
It would seem like a vacation, it is very similar here in Vancouver lots of Mountains and the ocean.Β The trick is to not let them become invisible, people in general stop noticing them when they live around them for a while. I do my best to always be aware of them, to keep them fresh.
Yes, I do have to go back, I was in Germany and Vienna, I loved both. Munich is wonderful, Hopefully you will like it.Β The centre of town is nice, I loved all of the talented artists, musicians and vocalists, every kind of music.Β The food is amazing as well, i like the fact that it all seems so safe, people are out in cafe until really late at night.Β Β I could photograph so much if I lived there.Β At some point I would like to visit the Christmas markets, I hear they are amazing.
Yes, getting time to upload is always a challenge, taking them seems so easy compared to the work sorting and fixing that comes afterwards.
Greeting to Germany,
Nigel

yes, I have seen a few pics like this one, I really love Zebras and I like to try and capture the lines in a way that speak for themselves... sort of the unique pattern hat each one creates.
Thank you so much for all of the great feed back.
Nigel
