Sorry 'bout the enormous watermark
The original plan was to draw one of =silverglass19 's characters as a llama in an attempt at originality and humor. So much for that...!
I have never spent so long on a deviation before... ever! And I haven't even started the shading yet!
I'm not complaining though! It's been challenging but so darn FUN! 
I'm posting this WIP to show that
1) I am not ignoring dA
2) My contest entry IS well underway
3) I'm going to be pushed to meet the Friday deadline as I'm currently entertaining guests, so have barely any time to come on here and continue with my art!
You don't have to comment on this! This is just an update of sorts!
N.B. This will be moved to scraps when I upload the finished version, and I will also then post credits, links etc

You can tell you have put time into this. I just love the idea of Seven being a tiger, it really fits and you have worked the markings in so well. The pose looks difficult too, the angle is great
